MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING: On The Cutting Edge of Appraisal Technology
At MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING, we have a confession to make: We are technology junkies. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at 239-898-5522 for appraisal orders in Lee County! Why? We're glad you asked.
If you asked enough appraisers, most would agree that appraising is more complicated than it used to be. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. So, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that using the very latest in new technology allows us to provide more credible reports, quicker turnaround times and of course, the very best in customer service.
In the past, a lot of our orders arrived via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we arrived at the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken hours to hear back to see if the order could be taken. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we receive an e-mail on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
Let MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING show you how we innovate ordering appraisals
MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING understands that real estate is all about timeliness. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. Through features on this website, we can actually speed up the entire appraisal process.
MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING is a pioneer in efficient data gathering
One of the most time consuming parts of an appraisal is gathering the data. We spend quite a bit of time gathering the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using a program created for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. And instead of using an old tape measure, we're seeing that more appraisers are beginning to use laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is on the money, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.
Modern appraisal report delivery ensures our clients have a number of ways to get their report
Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Most of our clients prefer e-mail because we're all accustomed to getting attachments like PDFs in our mail. It's a lot better than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to innovate report delivery with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because of the file size? We've come up with a solution for those problems, too. When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again - saving you time, since we won't even need to run back to the computer.
Lastly, we use all digital workfiles...
It would probably be easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
Here again, MARC ANTHONY GIZZI APPRAISAL & CONSULTING leverages our experience with technology to improve service. By storing every aspect of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we're able to retrieve that file at any time and recall just what that assignment was about.
These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Using the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
